Re: Controllers

It's nice and 'heavy.' If that makes sense. Feels very 'cabinet' versus light and plasticy. A lot of them just feel like mid range volume knobs. The icode has that arcade heft to it. Which is totally just a tactile thing. But overall, they are very well made. I used one on a MAME machine a few ...

Re: Controllers

I'm really in the market for a good spinner for MiSTer. Arknoid isn't good without a spinner. Centipede and the like. Zaxxon. There are so many great games on there that just don't work well with a directional controller. Thanks for the share!

I really like that style of keyboard. I'm sure it's made by the same people who make the Rii chiclet keyboards.Good switches. Responsive. Clicky. Tactile.

I LOVED him on The Odd Couple. When they did that out-of-character bit at the end of the episode.

Pizza Movie is stupid stoner fun

Pizza Movie (2026) answers the question "What if Harold and Kumar but in the post-Robot Chicken, TikTok world?" even though nobody else on the planet asked it. And it's a GOOD answer.

Re: Wii - a stolen design, ad campaign, and legacy?

I don't think it's unsatisfying and I think that there is some bad blood since they legit stole the COMMERCIAL for it. I mean, c'mon. That's not just a popular trope. That was a 1:1 ripoff.

MiSTer gets 3DO core

MiSTer, the open source FPGA retro gaming project, has just received a beta for 3DO. This rounds out the 32bit generation for most North American and Japanese releases. The current state of affairs is pretty solid, though it does require dual RAM. I've tested some of the bigger hitters and the new ...

Content will be viewable specifically over http or if someone accepts the risk. Option 1is your best bet, likely. Though a Let's Encrypt 90 day + cron is fine, too.

The latter gives you more control. The former is set it and forget it, usually.

Here's a sneak peek at some of the green screening (the wall and camera move are not final, just placeholder). It's a bit of a spoiler simply because it includes some costumes that have plot relevance. You've been warned.

What's, in your opinion, the best guitar solo of all time?

I saw a reddit thread discussing this and this was my answer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SFNW5F8K9Y

If you haven't seen it, it's absolutely facemeltingly excellent. Prince was a lot of things. But one of those things was one of the best guitarists (if not THE best) to ever live. Joe ...
